I came to finance from a different world.
I studied mechanical engineering and spent my first years as a fire safety and security technician for industrial clients. Technical, precise work — but far from what I wanted to do with my career.
I wanted to help specific people with the questions that keep them up at night: Will my family be OK if something happens to me? When can I retire? Is my mortgage really the best I can get? These questions aren't technical — they're deeply human.
So I switched. Today, I work within the 4fin group, an independent financial advisory firm that offers products from across the Czech market — not just those from one brand.
What I actually do
I help individuals and families with their complete financial picture: mortgages, insurance, investments, retirement planning. My work starts with listening — understanding what you want and what you fear. Only then do I open the product catalogue.
I serve clients across all of South Bohemia. For English-speaking expats living in or moving to the Czech Republic, I offer the same service in English — including help navigating the local financial system, which has its own quirks.
